Happy Holidays!! gosh can you believe it! december 1, yikes. Thanksgiving was great. i went to our friend Ben's families dinner. he was nice to invite me. beck went to visit her family. i was going to go but she was doing other visiting and so i decided to stay home and i was actually just going to cook for myself but ended up going with Ben and turned out to be great. it was a nice week actually. it was nice to have the place to myself and kinda regroup and just hang out. i realize that i have sleeping issues when im by myself and don't have anywhere to go the next day. i end up staying up all night and sleeping most of the day away which isnt' the greatest thing to do but was done. and im ok with that.

i spent some time with Ben and His girl kasia. had lunch with my friend shannon. we had thai and some sushi..yummy. im actaully going to have a sushi party next month and make my own. that should be fun.

...so we decided to paint the bedroom. she bought a gallon of paint a while ago, we needed supplies so off to the dollar store we go to pick up some things. came home and got the room ready for painting, moved stuff out, taped the edges etc etc.....and then she left for rehearsal for a couple of hours so in that time i got 3/4 of the room done (painted to where i can reach...basically) and when she came home around 11 and we finished the rest. it looks really good. honestly the room looks really good. its a nice warm color....not to girly not to masculine its actually perfect for her....cuz shes both girly and sporty so its really a great room. very cozy.

so i never did get to sleep that day. we ended up sleeping on the futon that night which was fine until the morning. i hate futons. lol our bodies were hurting from the futon and the painting...we were sore. lol so Friday is actually when we finished putting the room together. Ben (neighbor) and his hat (see pic above) called us in the morning on his way to dunkin donuts and wanted to know if we wanted anything and he bought us some bagels and hung out for a while. beck had to babysit for a couple of hours then on her way home she called me to get ready for dinner. we went to Mary's and had our low carb lettuce wraps which are really good and low in points. we ended up going to the dollar store again and bought a rug for the living room and two lamps for the bedroom and sheer curtains for the bedroom. the room is absolutely perfect.

so of course now the rest of the place is trashed. lol

but were going to rearrange and get paint for the rest of the apt and start doing that. most likely after the holidays. but for now the living room/dining room/office are being moved around and set in different locations. I'm hoping to have the place cleaned up by tomorrow. i have rehearsal for 2 hours and that's it. so i hope that while I'm gone she'll get some stuff done like go through all her craft supplies...ugh...and we can get the place civilized cuz i want to start decorating. lol were so excited about Xmas and decorating but both of us are like...not until the place is cleaned!! and its funny cuz neither one of us are going to be here for the holiday but were just going to celebrate after. which is just fine.

jeeze i still need to make my flight arrangements. ugh im going to see my mommy for xmas!!! yayayayaya im very excited and now since im not working i can spend a good amount of time with her which will be great! im thinking about 2 weeks. i think that will be good.

we have our weight watcher meeting on Saturday morning. i knew i gained. I'm pretty much right back to square one. ill get there..i know it. she's lost 14 lbs already. shes doing great. of course I'm doing all the cooking...so of course shes doing great. once things get better organized, shes going to start cooking again. after the meeting we went grocery shopping and being ridiculous in the car. it was so funny we were at the jewel and they were sampling wine. we hadn't eaten yet....lol....

Lets see i got up at 8:45 to shower,

she got up at 930,

we got coffee,

went to the meeting

went to Aldis,

then to the jewel

so its now about noon and all we had was coffee....

so here we go sampling wine...they give you like half a shot glass to taste and of course we tasted all 4.....and literally those 4 little shots went straight to our heads..lol. which led to more ridiculousness in the grocery store. we are such dorks. as were walking out of the store it was snowing (the first snow) and the two of us without a word stuck out our tongues to catch the flakes and l mean we didn't even say anything we just did it simultaneously.

it.was.the.funniest.fucking.thing.ever!

so that led us into hysterics. so funny. and of course the one liners of mmm taste like chicken and gosh I'm so full....you get the idea... so we went home.

Ben was walking Phil so she played in the snow with Phil who is becks boyfriend (Phil is a dog I'm sure you have seen him on my myspace page and if you haven't....why the hell not!! i put the link up over there on your right...use it!! you can check out Ben's pics on my space (hes a top friend) and you will see the cutest dog ever!) we put our groceries away and we decided to have shrimp cocktail and wine for lunch which we did and it was yummy.

so were having this snow storm!! omg...its was so windy here there is ice on our street and literally there is a sheet of hard ice on the cars. its amazing how quickly it formed. i hope that it gets warm enough tomorrow for it to melt some. i hope that we don't get hit to bad with snow. the winds that come off the lake are so strong i can't even imagine what the winter is going to be like. I'm really glad that i dont' have a job to go too right now. it would have been awful.

can i just say this one last thing..... looking at my calendar for December..... i have 2 more show before the season ends. season 2 starts in april,

then I'm going to SC to see my mom for xmas for a couple of weeks.

umm....hello life!!!

i was so miserable last year.....that i slept Christmas day away cuz i didn't want to see anybody. not one decoration the last 2 years. do you remember how depressed i was.

now i can't wait to decorate. I'm so excited. we saw this pink feather tree that she fell in love with that I'm looking on the Internet for it but i doubt well get one. maybe next year.
